On November
The collection is inspired by an autumn spent on the Left Bank, exploring shapes, textures, and memories. There are moments we’ve seen ourselves, and those we know only through history or books— the juxtaposition of which is captured in an original work titled “November in the 7th.” Research into Rodin, Colette, Camille Claudel, and Charles Garnier provided a fund of artistic and intellectual inspiration, as their stories shape and reflect our own.
November In The Seventh
Leaves fallen, dying into abstractions, the days growing shorter, casting shadows that lengthen across stone archways, where feathering birches careen into white marble sculptures, as new shapes emerge between forms. Camille, a sculptor herself, Rodin’s muse, and the wallpaper torn away, partially, as if to reveal roses and the grids of Haussman’s city plan, shapes echoing in crisp autumn.
